The location, gardens and staff are all very good. The College is a beautiful example of 1930s English architecture. I loved the large interior garden and courtyard. I ate in the magnificent refractory hall. The food was very good, but I think the charge of £12 for the breakfast buffet was steep. The problem was the ladies toilets were blocked 3 times during my 5 night stay. That was all very unpleasant. The mattress had seen better days and the bed creaked.

The computer system seemed to be misbehaving so it was a while before I had a room key, but it wasn't a problem. Thanks for the upgrade. The flat was excellent and immaculate. The kitchen would have catered perfectly for two people and two visitors. What a convenient location!

I stayed in the Nicolas Nickleby suite in the London House for 4 nights. The suite was great: spacious, 4 windows and a great view overlooking the London skyline. The elevator and the short walk over the wonderful roofterras are a wonderful plus

I was delighted by my stay and found the room very clean and comfortable and warm and enjoyed the ambience of both William Goodenough House and London House and eating in The Great Hall was a great treat.
