Overview

This 19th-century Victorian townhouse is located just 2 miles from Leeds City Centre, close to the M1, yet set in a quiet leafy lane in the Headingly conservation area, and is the perfect venue for a short break, dinner, meeting, wedding or celebration. Only 5 minutes walk from local shops, cafes, restaurants and bars and is perfectly positioned for Headingley Rugby & Cricket Club. 

Haley’s is a privately owned country house hotel offering 26 tasteful and comfortable bedrooms and public areas providing guests with a friendly country house atmosphere whilst offering modern facilities to make your stay even more enjoyable. 

Extra single beds are available for children under the age of 16 in larger double rooms and there is a charge of £12.00 per child, per night, please add as an upgrade. There is also a disabled access room on the ground floor.


History

Originally built in the 19th century as a gentlemen's residence, Haley's was converted to a hotel in 1980.

Food & beverage

A full English "buffet" style breakfast is served in the restaurant Monday to Friday 7.00am to 9.00am and Saturday and Sunday 8.00am to 9.30am, and is chargeable (where applicable) at £6.95 for adults and children over the age of 10, and £3.95 for children under the age of 10; please add as an upgrade for those staying between Sunday and Thursday night. Breakfast is included in the price for those staying Friday and Saturday nights.

The restaurant offers dinner at an additional cost and is open Monday to Saturday 6.00pm to 9.45pm (closed Sunday nights), and there is also a bar which offers a less informal lounge menu. There also plenty of restaurants, bars and cafes within walking distance.

Staff were excellent, and all round our stay was superb, and we stay at plenty of hotels and bnbs so we know a good one when we see one!
