Overview

 Villa Ulivi is a refined mansion of 1400s.

It is located in the residential area where Piazza della Libertà and Fortezza da Basso are.
Infact, the Villa is very close to the Exhibition Centre of Fortezza da Basso, where the fashion event “Pitti Immagine” takes place.

The location is ideal to visit the city and the surrounding areas enjoying, at the same time, the tranquillity of the Tuscan nature and the vicinity to the monumental areas and shopping venues.

The double and triple rooms, spacious, comfortable and bright, are enhanced by antique furniture and objects. The windows overlook the villa’s garden and Florence. Each room is equipped with private bathroom, tiled with prestigious marbles and equipped with bath or shower.

Suites are also available and can host up to 4 or 6 people.

From the main terrace of the Villa guests can enjoy a beautiful view of Florence and its uncontaminated country side.

Breakfast, included in the price, offers: Tuscan bread, coffee, tea, juices, cakes and home-made jams.

During the winter it is served in the room adjacent the garden, while in the summer it is proposed on the terrace, in the shade of lush trees and mimosa trees.

Grounds & Gardens

 This wonderful Tuscan residence, which is access by a path drawn by two rows of chestnut trees, against a bright sky, enhanced by an olive grove and made more generous by rich vineyard red grapes, it is embraced by the greenery of a large park, surrounded by rose gardens and dotted with lavender.

From Santa Maria Novella Station: by taxi or bus: 25, 25-A or 25-B (stop: “La Pietra”, located in Via Bolognese. Continuing on foot for about 100m, on the left side of Via Bolognese, at the number 163, there is the gate of the Villa).

From Amerigo Vespucci Airport: by taxi or taking the Shuttle Bus “Vola in Bus” to Santa Maria Novella Station.  

Please note that tourists visiting the city of Florence will be requested to pay a Tourist Tax of €2.00 per person per night, for a maximum of 10 consecutive nights. This tax is not included in the price of the room and must be paid directly at reception upon arrival.
