Set in a Grade II listed building in Alnwick’s historic conservation area, The Bondgate Boutique is a small, room-only guest house with seven individually styled en-suite bedrooms and simple, secure self check-in.
Interiors blend natural oak, soft velour textures and local artwork to create a calm boutique feel. Expect crisp Egyptian-cotton bed linen, hypoallergenic pillows, fluffy towels and cosy throws for a comfortable night’s sleep. Four bedrooms are on the ground floor with ramp access (ideal if you’d prefer fewer stairs), with three rooms on the first floor.
Perfect for a relaxed break in Northumberland—or a comfortable stop on your way north—you can explore Alnwick on foot. Alnwick Castle, The Alnwick Garden (home to Lilidorei) and the Treehouse Restaurant are nearby, along with independent shops, cafés and restaurants. Breakfast isn’t served on site, but excellent options are just a short walk away.
The unspoilt Northumberland coast is within easy reach for day trips, including Bamburgh Castle and Holy Island, and Northumberland National Park is ideal for walking and dark skies.
Check-in is from 15:00 via self check-in; check-out is by 10:00. On-site parking is available (spaces limited). Owners are not resident, but support is always close at hand by phone or email. If you need extra rooms, our sister townhouse Tate House is directly opposite with three additional bedrooms.
