Overview

Staying at Elm Grove offers guests ease of access into central London or stay closer to SW15 and enjoy the local attractions such as Richmond Park, the Royal Botanic Gardens in Kew, Wimbledon Tennis Courts and Museum, and the London Wetland Centre in Barnes.

Offering double ensuite rooms, including hotel amenities and complimentary tea and coffee. Situated on the first and second floor in the dedicated Elm Grove Conference Centre guests can admire the new library and landscaped grounds overlooking the lake or the beautifully kept courtyards.

History

With an ever-increasing demand for more conference and meeting room facilities, construction started in the winter of 2015 on the new Elm Grove Conference Centre. The Centre uses the most technologically-advanced equipment and has a fabulous terrace with panoramic views of the city. 30 guest bedrooms are available for clients who wish to book Elm Grove for several days.

The University of Roehampton has a range of cafes, bars, and catering outlets to suit all tastes.

Grounds & Gardens

Elm Grove is set in glorious, extensive grounds of the University of Roehampton. There are lakes, fountains, a beautiful Grade II listed Georgian villa and many more features.

In the local area, guests can enjoy the many activities such as golf, cycling or horse riding on Wimbledon Common or Richmond Park.

Access to the WI-FI is available.

Elm Grove Conference Centre operates a temporary luggage storage facility, which should be available to guests Monday to Friday 9.00am - 5.00pm.

Residents are welcome to use the gym facilities at the University of Roehampton with an additional daily charge.

Main conference reception closed so went to the security building, Very confusing finding the block, Room very clean and tidy, wi-fi kept dropping out every 30 seconds. nice little fridge and welcome tea/coffee basket. Room had ironing board, hairdryer and was warm. Suggest adding a map to the booking response. Suggest separate week day and weekend instructions on how to get your room key. Thank you and i will stay again

Room size and layout, with good desk space for work, exceeded all expectations. Security staff very friendly. Cleaning staff kept room in beautiful condition. Room stocked with all essentials, toiletries etc. Recycling options on site and landscaped pond and park. Drake and duck with ducklings a highlight. Would definitely look to stay here again.

Excellent accommodation in a beautiful setting, about ten minutes walk from Barnes station. I had a very clean and comfortable room with tea-making facilities and bathroom toiletries. The staff on duty were most helpful and accompanied me to the accommodation block. Highly recommended.

Arrived late and the security staff were so very friendly and helpful in getting my car onsite and parked and on directing me in the morning to the meeting I had onsite. Would definitely look to use again when I am next in the area.

Elm Grove Conference Centre is situated on the main campus of the University of Roehampton, please enter through the main University gates off Roehampton Lane. Elm Grove Conference Centre reception is situated to the left as you enter through these gates or if you are wishing to park please turn right for the main car park.

Buses (stop outside the main campus): 265, 493, 419.

Trains: Closest train station is Barnes, which is then a 10-15 minutes walk along Roehampton Lane.
