Really enjoyed my stay, an easy walk from the train station and not far from the centre of Cambridge. It was nice to have a little taste of the student experience. The room was clean, the location quiet and as a solo traveller felt very safe with swipe access to the grounds. The porter's lodge staff were very friendly. The only thing to note is if you are noise sensitive, there is little to no sound insulation between rooms - you can hear people moving around and doors closing etc.

We were travelling with an assistance dog to visit our daughter in another college. All the staff we met, especially the Porters, were exceptionally helpful. I would particularly like to commend one lady at the Porter's gate, Jess? I think. She went out of her way to help us on arrival and thereafter. After a long and tiring journey her assistance was very much appreciated. Thank you to all who made our stay comfortable. Anne & John Noble.

It was a good experience and good value. Great location too. The only problem was that Apple Maps took us to the other side of the building complex, and then we had to walk around the compound again to get in, but that's not a problem with Hughes Hall. Actually, Apple Map had a problem throughout the Cambridge campus in showing walkways as open that had locked gates.

Porters were exceptionally helpful and the room was great. Thank you for a lovely stay!
