Ladybird & Lily Pad cabins:
These cosy cabins are situated right on the edge of the lake, boasting a small veranda which leads onto the edge of the lake to simply relax soaking in the peaceful surroundings, with your favourite drink in hand! Both of these cabins have got their own eco log burning hot tub! This will be lit on the day of your arrival so it will be hot for when you arrive! We also sell log package's for 10 GBP each and you can purchase them from The Pizza Shed & Bar across the road at Lakeside Fishing Retreats (Our sister site PE22 9QZ).
Ladybird is closer to Dragonfly Lodge and Lilypad is on the end, but with plenty of space between them. ladybird has a large jetti which protrudes into the lake which is designed for fishing from. You may also fish from any of the swims around the lake.
You’re more than welcome to bring your own comfy chairs, or alternatively we have benches dotted around the lake. You are more than welcome to bring your own bbq (keep away from the pods and the grass please), or alternatively we have a few communal BBQs dotted around the lake (you can buy logs for these at The Pizza Shed and Bar PE22 9QZ).
Fishing Rules and info:
The fishing is fantastic and the lake is well stocked with carp going up to 36lbs but the largest fish in there is 106lbs! We have various species in the lake. We are not open for day tickets, which makes our site exclusive for cabin guests only. We are strictly adults only and no pets are allowed.
- No dead rigs allowed
- No tigernut bait allowed
- No keep nets
- Barbless Hooks only.
- Dip net (over at the pizza shed and bar PE22 9QZ)
- Fishing day & night allowed
- Use landing mats/cradles for larger fish
- Take care of fish and put safely back into lake
- Bait boats allowed
- Please bring a carp car kit
- Catch and release! No keeping the fish!
