Overview

Part of Kingston University, situated in a gated cul-de-sac, Middle Mill Hall of Residence in Kingston provides single bedrooms arranged in self-catering flats of four to eight with communal kitchen and bathroom facilities and 24-hour security.

The Hall is situated on the banks of the Hogsmill River, a 10-minute walk from Kingston Railway Station and Town Centre.

By regular rail service, Kingston-upon-Thames is just 30 minutes from central London. Three Royal Parks are nearby, as well as several historic houses and gardens. From this historic market town, you can visit Henry VIII's Hampton Court Palace, 17th century Ham House, and the Royal Botanic Gardens of Kew. For a fun day out, visit Chessington World of Adventures, Thorpe Park, or Legoland.


Food & beverage

Each apartment has its own shared kitchen, which is equipped with basic equipment; crocker, cutlery, cooking utensils, microwave, kettle, toaster, fridge/freezer.

Guests will be expected to carry out their own washing up and maintain a general standard of cleanliness in these areas.

There is a full range of supermarkets and grocery stores in Kingston Town Centre. The Coconut public house and Thai restaurant are located 2 minutes from Middle Mill Halls and a little further is The Spring Grove Tavern, which offers traditional English food.

There is free parking on-site at Middle Mill for guests. please ensure you ask for a permit at reception upon check-in.

Every bedroom has an internet port and cable so that guests can access the internet free of charge.

Very warm reception. I arrived from abroad, earlier than check in time but they easily accommodated me. They need to work on WiFi though.....it doesn't work once you get in the apartment / room area. Outside the Middle Mill building is fine but once inside, no WiFi. Great place to stay otherwise. I'll use them again.

By Air: From Heathrow: Buses run to the centre of Kingston upon Thames or take the Piccadilly line Underground service to Earls Court, change to the District Line to Wimbledon and catch a mainline train to Kingston or Surbiton.

From Gatwick: take the train to Clapham Junction and then catch a mainline train to Kingston or Surbiton.
