Before stayed in a student room, outside of term. This is a very nice hotel-like room. The shower is a small and a bit tricky to use but this is not a complaint. Especially liked the view of the back gardens, and the sports field. Will do again in the future. Girton College, Cambridge

Lovely place to stay. Rooms very clean and tidy. Staff superb everywhere from first arrival to departure. Breakfast was fresh and delicious and the Castle itself is beautiful and so well maintained. Durham Castle, Durham
