The reception staff were very welcoming and helpful. The room was on the small side, but comfortable, clean and had a nice view. It was very quiet overnight, even with the window open for fresh air. Next time we will bring our gym stuff to use the on-site gym. Oxford University Club, Oxford

We loved it! A college we didn't know that was a treasure trove of modern architecture, sculpture and landscape. The room was great, as was the subsidised college bar. Plus a lovely warm welcome at the porters' lodge. Perfect. Churchill College, Cambridge

The Porter was very helpful telling us about places to go and eat. The accommodation was very clean,comfortable and having access to tea and coffee was a nice touch. Liddell Building (Christ Church), Oxford
