My son and I stayed at Somerville for two nights to attend the Oxford Open Day. The whole experience was excellent. Somerville is beautiful, the accommodation great, the breakfast wonderful, and the highlight was the brilliantly friendly and helpful Somerville staff. Would definitely recommend. I was delighted by my stay and found the room very clean and comfortable and warm and enjoyed the ambience of both William Goodenough House and London House and eating in The Great Hall was a great treat. Goodenough College, Bloomsbury, London

Pleasantly surprised at changes of linen and towels etc each day. The location means its great value ( that's not an invitation to put your prices up!) Think I was in room 307 west. Beit Hall, Hyde Park, London

I really appreciated the access to the gym, and other facilities, which many colleges don't offer. Also the lift! The porters were really helpful and approachable. Downing College, Cambridge

Very nice place to stay, clean and comfortable. It’s a bit out of the way without a car, but there’s a convenient shuttle bus. Wolfson College, Oxford
