The porters were very friendly and helpful. The room was spatious and clean. The bed was good. It was nice to have a kitchenette with some food and a cafetière. There might have been a bit more variation for breakfast and some coffee to do in the cafetière. Green Templeton College, Oxford

A kind welcome, clean and comfortable room, and a variety of choices at breakfast. Overall, great value for money in this beautiful city and a pleasant walk to and from the town centre (although there are plenty of buses). Would recommend! Thank you ? Wycliffe Hall, Oxford

Fabulous venue, very friendly and helpful staff. The breakfast was good. We had an issue with the shower hence why marked the room down a bit but otherwise, a great stay in a beautiful location. We will definitely be back. Thank you ? Durham Castle, Durham

Very good. Beautiful environment, I was attended by a member of staff at reception who was very kind and helpful. A suggestion: for guests who come for work reasons, it would be nice and really useful to have access to a study room. Westminster College, Cambridge

Hot water was scolding immediately the tap was turned on. Dangerous. Needs rectifying immediately. Breakfast was not hot but Luke warm. Service from the staff all around was excellent. St John's College, Cambridge
