Perfect place to stay for a solo traveler that enjoys history. Simple room with ensuite centrally located. I appreciated how they were very environment friendly and energy efficient. Breakfast in the great hall is perfect way to start the day and food is good!

A comfortable and very atmospheric room with a great view. Friendly staff, tea and coffee facilities in the room, plus towels and toiletries. Lovely and warm room, despite freezing cold weather at the time. Great location as a 'crash pad' for a night or two.
