Clean rooms overlooking a garden. Nice to stay in a University atmosphere with easy access to the colleges and the centre. Breakfast in the dining room was ample but missed marmalade for breakfast! Everything was above excellent - fantastic value for money! Spacious and well equipped apartment, comfortably fit 2 adults and 2 small children. Delicious and abundant breakfast. Would definitely stay again! Jesus College, Cambridge

Excellent. Staff friendly and helpful. Room was better than many good standard hotels. Only minus was the breakfast on the Saturday and Sunday was poor compared to first day. Possibly due to weekend. Résidence Lanteri, Paris

Budget accommodation during the Fringe. Rooms are great if you're using Edinburgh for a base, the kitchen and living room is pretty barren though, barely enough to cook a meal for 6. - source Google Chalmers Street - Unite Students, Edinburgh
