This is a very pleasant hotel, for its architectural status (designed by William Paty), for its setting in a Georgian square with a central garden, for its cleanliness within, and for its warm and helpful staff. Great place to stay in Central Manchester. Clean rooms, good service and comes with a well equipped kitchenette. Will put this on my go to list from now on. Only one downside was that if you want the discounted parking from Q park you have to book ahead, but a minor quirk. Roomzzz Manchester City

Unfortunately breakfast was late, and seemed to keep getting later so we had paninis from the coffee shop. The rest of our stay, including the wedding reception, was breathtakingly good, congratulations to all concerned! King's College Cambridge, Conference & Dining

Very good stay, staff were very helpful and the location is fantastic. The only improvement I can suggest is to provide a child friendly menu for the Evening meal, otherwise everything was fab. The Bay Hotel, Porthallow

Excellent staff,ambiance and service. Very frienfly. Must remember however that although the surroundings are stunning the accommodation is student standard. |Well worth it though. Corpus Christi College, Oxford
